Philly Queer Storytellers presents: Love Sex and Philadelphia. Come meet the cast of the upcoming Fringe Show and hear some teaser readings from the storytellers. Mix and mingle, walk through the museum and enjoy some complimentary sips.

Movie Night!

Shakedown is a 2018 American documentary film directed by Leilah Weinraub.

The film documents a black lesbian strip club called Shakedown in Los Angeles from 2002 to the time it was shut down by police in 2004. It follows the staff including Ronnie, the club’s owner and promoter, and some of the dancers.

Sept 11th

Doors 6:30 Movie time 7pm

Come draw the figure taught by local artist Stevie Laney.

Class breakdown:

Warm up with 7x 3 min poses. Then into a 5 minute pose demo where you’ll watch Stevie draw the model and talk about technique. The class will continue drawing the model as we will then move into 4x 5 minute poses, followed by 2x 10 minute poses into the last drawing session of the evening, a 20 minute pose.

ALL level’s welcome. Some supplies provided.
